Crochet Mosaic Baby Blanket
The Crochet Mosaic Baby Blanket is the latest addition to the mosaic series from Yarnspirations. This is a beautifully stunning concept. The multiples to change the size is 10+14.
This is using Bernat Baby Crushed Velvet in the colours of Whipping Cream and Lilac Petals. 2 balls of each colour are required with a US G/6 (4 mm) hook required.

Hello Crochet Crowd, This pattern is fantastic and your tutorials are spot on. I've been waiting for a baby to celebrate and now we have two on the way! But, I'm finding that the Bernat Baby Crushed Velvet is no longer available, even at Yarnspirations. Is Bernat Baby Velvet (same gauge, weight and length) a suitable substitute? They look nearly identical. Thank you for the help!

Yes, both Baby Crushed and Baby Velvet are the same in gauge and weight. They are just an extension brand. Meaning, same yarn, different colouring.

Just wanted to let you know I did as you suggested and sent corrections to Yarnspirations, which were sent to the design team and I just got a copy of the completely revised written pattern! Not sure when they will release the corrected version - but they included all the corrections I found plus one more!! This month's Crochet World has several mosaic patterns plus 2 articles on how to do mosaic crochet. Can't wait to get started!!

I am unaware that the pattern that was issued is still wrong. It was originally wrong when it first launched, it's since been corrected and is the current one being offered as a download. Where are the errors are you speaking of. Please email me at [email protected] 🙂 Michael
